Basics

Yimi'a Lotos is a young adult Miqo'te, a Keeper of the Moon, an artist, and an inexperienced healer. His most striking feature is his bright pink hair. He has a naturally rounder face shape than average, and soft lips. His skin is tan, the same as the rest of his immediate family.He has several tattoos on his face, common amongst Moon Keepers, focused around his eyes and the center of his forehead. His clothes are usually simple and practical, though he dyes them a variety of colours; it's very rare to see him wearing 'boring' clothes.

Moon Keeper

Yimi'a comes from a family of Moon Keepers - Miqo'te that live in matriarchal groups, revering Menphina, the moon goddess. Specifically, Yimi'a's family has lived in a little-known forest area southeast of Abalathia's Spine for several generations. He was raised with his three sisters, the only male of his mother's children, until he was old enough to be sent out into the world on his own.He could have remained in the forest as his family did, but instead chose to wander out, making the long journey into the Black Shroud and thus finding himself lead to Gridania by the winding forest paths. He's lived there for just over a year, and is still getting used to such a vastly different society.

Artist, Healer

One of Yimi'a's favourite pastimes is art. As a child, he was encouraged to express himself through drawing, crafting, and dancing, praised for his creativity and enthusiasm. In more recent times, he's found he has a talent for painting in particular; he makes a small amount of money by selling his works, usually enough to get by.Besides his artwork, Yimi'a's only other source of income is his limited knowledge of conjury. His upbringing taught him respect for nature, leaving him little to learn besides the actual healing part of conjury, but he doesn't have much in common with Gridania's conjurers. His reverence of Menphina guides his conjury more than any relationship with the forest elementals.
